In addition to my formal education in CPA and MBA, I maintain an insatiable appetite for learning and staying abreast of emerging trends. My pursuit of knowledge includes participation in programs offered by prestigious institutions like MIT, Stanford, and Wharton, refining my skills to the utmost.
Throughout my journey, I've committed myself to translating complex financial data into actionable insights. My forte lies in financial planning and forecasting, bolstered by the application of "Lean Finance" methodologies that not only add value but also eradicate wasteful practices from reporting processes. Rather than settling for the status quo, I believe in challenging norms and consistently reviewing processes, a philosophy that resulted in remarkable achievements.
I spearheaded a seed financing round, securing $2.3 million from familial and friendly circles. My role extends to governance and strategic alignment for boards, and I am consistently on the lookout for fresh funding opportunities through various provincial and federal agencies such as NRC-IRAP, Mitacs, and the Ontario Centre for Innovation.
Away from the world of numbers, you will find me engrossed in training for a half marathon, providing guidance to aspiring accountants and interns, and delving into the ever-evolving domains of finance and AI, often in collaboration with students from the University of Waterloo.

With a background in public accounting, a CPA certification, a Management Diploma, and extensive experience spanning 29 years, I have navigated Financial Planning and Analysis, IT Financial Management, Auditing, and Regulatory Supervision across sectors like manufacturing, financial services, technology, and more. My impact has been felt at companies such as International Road Dynamics, Sprint-Nextel International, Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Inc., and Blast Radius Inc. I excel in financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, cost accounting, and compliance with IFRS rules. Currently, I am driving Lean Thinking adoption across Canada while staying attuned to AI and automation trends.
